Raluca Besliu is a freelance journalist focused on women's and children's rights, refugee and human rights issues, and peace and post-conflict reconstruction. She has written for various news sources including Digital Journal and Politics in Spires. She graduated from the University of Oxford with an Msc in Refugees and Forced Migration after studying international affairs at Vassar College. She founded a non-profit organization called Save South Kordofan to raise awareness about the indiscriminate killings currently taking place in the Sudanese region, raising funds for communities in need through the sale of Sudanese art.
