Iyabo Obasanjo

Iyabo Obasanjo is a Nigerian trained veterinarian who received her PhD in Epidemiology from Cornell University in 1995. She worked in Clinical Research in the US till 2003 when she was appointed Commissioner for Health for Ogun State of Nigeria. A post she served until she resigned to contest for the Senator representing her district in the National Assembly. Dr Obasanjo was a Senator in Nigeria from 2007 to 2011 and is currently a Senior Fellow in the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University.
