A sweeping executive rebuild at lululemon athletica inc. (NASDAQ: LULU) is accelerating, with two senior hires bringing the Vancouver-based activewear company closer to completing a C-suite overhaul that began just weeks ago.

The most prominent addition is Ben Hallam, who steps into the newly defined Chief Brand Officer role on November 9, 2026, taking direct responsibility for how lululemon presents itself to consumers worldwide.

Hallam arrives with two decades of brand and marketing experience, most recently as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where he helped reposition the luxury group’s global identity and delivered record commercial growth.

His background spans luxury hospitality, consumer technology, and large-scale global consumer businesses, a combination that signals lululemon is prioritizing premium brand perception as a competitive lever.

Reporting to CEO Heidi O’Neill, Hallam will oversee global brand marketing, creative direction, store experience, sports marketing, partnerships, social impact, and community engagement, a mandate that covers nearly every surface through which the brand touches its customers.

O’Neill described the hire in pointed terms, saying “Ben brings an exceptional combination of creative vision, commercial discipline, and experience transforming iconic, premium brands at scale.”

The second appointment announced simultaneously is Emily Sunderland as Chief Strategy Officer, effective November 23, 2026, rounding out the senior team with a strategist whose career has centered on growth and transformation across consumer sectors.

Sunderland joins from Boston Consulting Group, where she held the title of Managing Director and Partner, advising global consumer businesses on enterprise strategy, with specific expertise in activewear, apparel, and specialty retail.

Unlike Hallam, who reports to the CEO, Sunderland will sit within the finance function, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Meghan Frank, positioning long-term strategic planning as closely linked to financial discipline.

The two additions follow October 2026 appointments of Maggie Gauger as President and Chief Product Officer and Joseph Godsey as Chief Operating Officer, together forming the core of a restructured leadership framework the company said is designed to integrate product, brand, and guest experience more tightly.

Hallam appeared eager to leverage lululemon’s existing community ties, noting that “lululemon is an extraordinary brand with a strong heritage of innovation and a meaningful connection with its community.”

Despite the rapid pace of hiring, the rebuild is not yet finished, as lululemon confirmed searches for a Chief Technology Officer and a Chief Communications Officer remain active, with those appointments still to be announced.
