Xometry (NASDAQ: XMTR) crossed two closely watched financial thresholds simultaneously in its third quarter of 2026, achieving its first-ever quarter of GAAP profitability while also reaching a $1 billion annual revenue run rate.

The milestones arrived as the AI-powered custom manufacturing marketplace reported results on November 3, 2026, signaling a structural shift in how industrial procurement is moving from offline channels to digital platforms.

A partnership with Siemens, which will embed Xometry’s pricing and manufacturability tools directly inside Siemens Designcenter software, is positioned as the company’s most consequential near-term growth lever.

A beta launch of the native Designcenter integration is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, and management has said the arrangement is expected to positively influence full-year 2027 operating results.

The financial logic behind the Siemens arrangement is straightforward: buyers brought in through the partnership require less sales and marketing spending, meaning each new account acquired that way contributes more to the bottom line than a directly sourced customer.

Xometry is also working alongside Siemens Supplyframe and Thomas, broadening the scope of the collaboration beyond the Designcenter tool and extending value across both companies’ customer bases.

On the enterprise side, accounts with annual platform spending of at least $50,000 grew 26% year over year to 2,172 customers, adding 133 net new accounts in the quarter alone.

The cohort of highest-spending customers, those committing at least $500,000 annually, delivered revenue growth above 40% year over year, underscoring how deeply Xometry is embedding itself into large industrial procurement operations.

Automated matching between purchase orders and invoices is accelerating that entrenchment, making it operationally costly for enterprise buyers to move their sourcing activity elsewhere.

Marketplace revenue climbed 43% year over year to $238 million, with gross margin reaching 36% and adjusted EBITDA coming in at $21.4 million for the quarter.

Active buyers on the platform numbered 93,812 in Q3, a 20% year-over-year increase, reflecting sustained demand from both new and returning customers across the manufacturing supply chain.

CEO Sanjeev Singh Sahni described the period as a landmark one across multiple financial dimensions, stating: “Q3 was a record quarter for Xometry across many fronts, including revenue, gross profit, marketplace gross margin, and adjusted EBITDA.”

For long-term investors, the convergence of GAAP profitability, accelerating enterprise adoption, and a high-margin distribution channel through Siemens represents a meaningful evolution in the company’s financial profile heading into 2027.
