Securitize, Inc. (NYSE: SECZ) has launched Securitize Stocks, a new product offering tokenized U.S. equities to eligible investors across the United States, European Union, and other permitted jurisdictions.

The initial lineup covers 12 publicly traded companies, including Apple, Nvidia, Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta, Tesla, Netflix, Circle, Strategy, Palantir, and Sphere Entertainment Capital.

Each token is backed one-to-one by an underlying share and represents a security entitlement under UCC Article 8, the legal framework governing securities held through intermediaries.

The structure is designed to preserve applicable shareholder rights and economic benefits, including dividends and voting rights, while the shares backing the tokens will not be lent out.

Importantly, holders of tokenized shares are not registered shareholders of the underlying issuer unless they choose to convert, and the companies behind the underlying securities have not sponsored or endorsed the tokens.

Securitize Chairman and CEO Carlos Domingo said: “Tokenized stocks should give investors more than a price on a wrapper that tracks a stock and is only offered offshore.”

Tokens will trade on Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform on the Solana blockchain, with all transactions settling in USDC, the dollar-pegged stablecoin.

Trading is initially available during extended hours through Securitize’s Solana PropAMM, with Jump Trading serving as the primary market maker, and the company has flagged plans to move toward 24/7 availability.

Ripple Prime and Aave are among the firms exploring institutional trading, lending, and collateral applications for the tokenized equities, signaling early institutional appetite for the product.

Securitize Stocks are expected to trade on the New York Stock Exchange’s planned 24/7 digital trading venue and the OKXICE Tokenized Securities Venue, subject to regulatory approval and operational requirements.

The company says the structure is compatible with the SEC’s Innovation Exemption framework for Tokenized Securities Venues and is designed to operate within the evolving U.S. regulatory environment for tokenized securities.

Securitize listed on the NYSE in July 2026 under the SECZ ticker and simultaneously tokenized $295 million of its own SECZ common stock on Solana and Avalanche, one of the largest issuer-sponsored tokenized stock launches on record.

The launch reflects a broader push by Wall Street firms to move equities onto blockchain infrastructure, enabling around-the-clock trading, faster settlement, and the potential use of stocks as collateral in onchain lending markets.
