Barron Trump is stepping into the consumer goods market this month with the launch of Sollos Yerba Mate, a caffeinated herbal tea brand he co-founded with four business partners ahead of an official May 2026 release.

Sollos Yerba Mate was incorporated in Delaware in December 2025 and registered in Florida in January 2026. SEC filings show the business reported $1 million in capital raised through a private placement. Alongside Barron Trump, the business directors are listed as Rodolfo Castello, Valentino Gomez, Stephen Hall, and Spencer Bernstein.

The brand has partnered with professional surfer Kepa Mendia ahead of launch and introduced its debut product as a Pineapple and Coconut flavour 12-pack. The company said it did not set out to build a flavour lineup but instead aimed to create what it describes as the perfect single drink.

The brand name draws on the Spanish word for sun, with SOL representing the sunrise and LOS, which is sol spelled backwards, representing the sunset, together capturing the full cycle of the sun.

Meanwhile, a separate viral moment is keeping the Trump name in headlines for an entirely different reason. Lara Trump appeared on her podcast this week to address a widespread conspiracy theory claiming that Barron is a time traveller, a theory linked to 19th-century novels by Ingersoll Lockwood featuring a fictional character named Baron Trump.

Lara Trump said she was not trying to rain on anyone’s parade but wanted to set the record straight, saying she had known Barron for 18 years and could confirm he is not a time traveller. She described the theory as crazy and likened its believers to those who deny the moon landing.

Barron Trump turned 20 in March and is currently attending New York University while maintaining a largely private public profile.
