Knox Systems and Palantir Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: PLTR) have announced a new partnership aimed at accelerating software delivery across FedRAMP and IL5 federal environments.

Knox Systems operates what it describes as the world’s largest Federal and Department of War managed cloud, currently serving more than 100 leading AI and enterprise software applications across federal environments.

The partnership combines Palantir’s accredited infrastructure for federal software deployment with Knox’s ability to deliver FedRAMP authorization in 90 days or less.

Together, the two companies aim to give commercial software innovators a single, streamlined path into the U.S. Government and defense sectors.

Palantir has previously helped leading software companies deploy to the federal government using its own accredited infrastructure, and this deal is designed to extend that reach significantly.

Knox already counts Adobe, Sierra, and Armis among the AI and SaaS providers it serves across the federal landscape, highlighting the scale of its existing footprint.

Kevin Kawasaki, Palantir Global Head of Business Development, emphasized the urgency driving the partnership, stating: “The mission can’t wait for technology to catch up.”

Kawasaki added: “We built our business to get not only our software, but other mission-critical software and tooling, into the hands of the warfighter and the U.S. Government, quickly and securely, and in the most highly regulated environments.”

Irina Denisenko, CEO of Knox Systems, described Palantir as setting the standard for how leading-edge software transforms government operations, noting that FedRAMP and IL5 environments have been central to that mission.

Denisenko stated: “Knox exists to get the best software in the world to the government faster, and to protect it once it’s there.”

The deal is structured to ensure mission-critical applications can deploy on their own schedules without sacrificing the security standards required in the most regulated government environments.

With federal IT modernization remaining a pressing priority for both defense and civilian agencies, the Knox-Palantir partnership positions both companies to capture a growing share of that demand at speed.
