BitMine Immersion Technologies, DeFi Development Corp, and Strive all expanded their digital asset holdings last week, even as markets drifted through a turbulent September.

Buying activity continued across all three firms despite fresh uncertainty gripping the broader crypto market ahead of a Federal Reserve interest rate decision.

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL) each faced softening price action throughout the period, yet none of the treasury firms showed signs of slowing their accumulation strategies.

BitMine Immersion Technologies added 27,180 ETH to its position last week, lifting its total holdings to 5.956 million tokens, representing 4.9% of the circulating supply.

The firm has been pursuing a 5% supply target under the direction of chairman Tom Lee, with roughly 5.07 million of its tokens currently sitting in a staked position.

BitMine values its combined crypto and cash holdings at $15.8 billion, underscoring the scale of its commitment to Ethereum as a core treasury asset.

The firm noted that “in August, ETH moved sideways without a downside break, and the 12-day metric expired, which implies a renewal of the upside move.”

DeFi Development Corp, a Nasdaq-listed Solana treasury firm, grew its SOL holdings by 2% to 2.39 million tokens since August 27, while also opening a $300 million at-the-market program for CHAD, its Solana-backed preferred stock.

Strive, the fifth-largest public Bitcoin treasury firm, purchased 469 BTC between September 8 and 11 at an average price of $77,954, bringing its total treasury to 25,000 coins.

Strategy (NASDAQ: MSTR), the largest public Bitcoin holder, stood apart from its peers by making no new BTC purchases during the period, instead repurchasing $139 million of its STRC preferred shares.

Michael Saylor posted on X on September 14, 2026: “Strategy has repurchased $139M of $STRC. As of 9/13/26, we hold 845,050 $BTC and $6.4B of USD Assets.”

Strategy’s Bitcoin stack remains unchanged at 845,050 BTC, held at an average acquisition cost of $75,412 per coin, cementing its dominant position among corporate crypto holders.

The accumulation activity across all four firms arrives at a pivotal moment, with the Federal Open Market Committee scheduled to deliver its interest rate decision on September 16.

Rate decisions have historically triggered significant volatility across digital asset markets, making the timing of these purchases a closely watched signal for broader investor sentiment.
