Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ: RKLB), a global leader in launch services and space systems, has successfully completed its 16th Electron rocket launch of the year on a dedicated mission for a confidential customer.
The mission, named “Happily Ever Faster,” lifted off from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1 in New Zealand at 3:28 p.m. NZST on September 11, marking another milestone in the company’s accelerating launch cadence.
The rocket successfully deployed a single Earth observation satellite into a 500km circular low Earth orbit, meeting the mission objectives for the undisclosed operator.
The “Happily Ever Faster” mission also marks Rocket Lab’s 95th Electron launch overall, underscoring the vehicle’s growing track record across commercial and government customers.
As global launch availability continues to strain the market, Electron’s consistent and reliable schedule provides dedicated access to space for operators building the industry’s next-generation satellite constellations.
Rocket Lab has confirmed that its next Electron launch is scheduled before the end of September, again from Launch Complex 1, serving another commercial constellation operator.
The company positions Electron as a purpose-built small-lift vehicle offering schedule certainty that larger, shared-ride launch options cannot consistently provide to satellite operators.
