Rocket Lab (NASDAQ: RKLB) snapped a three-session losing streak on Wednesday, rising 1% to close at $63.10, even as a CFO share sale disclosure landed after market hours.

The company completed its 94th Electron rocket mission, dubbed “Owl Around The World,” launching from its Mahia complex in New Zealand after high winds forced two earlier postponements.

The Electron rocket successfully deployed Synspective’s latest StriX radar-imaging satellite into a 575-kilometer low-Earth orbit, extending Rocket Lab’s perfect record with the Japanese operator.

The StriX satellite uses synthetic aperture radar technology to capture images of the Earth’s surface regardless of cloud cover, weather conditions, or available daylight.

Rocket Lab also developed a custom payload fairing tailored specifically to the dimensions of the StriX satellite, and the company maintains that Electron remains the world’s most frequently launched small orbital rocket.

Wednesday’s mission was Rocket Lab’s 15th launch of 2026 and its 11th successful mission for Synspective, a partnership that dates back to 2020 when the Japanese operator began building out its radar-imaging satellite constellation.

An additional 16 dedicated Electron missions for Synspective remain booked through 2030, with Wednesday’s flight marking the first completed under an expanded commitment signed in June covering 17 further launches.

Rocket Lab’s previous Electron flight, its 93rd overall, deployed an Earth-observation satellite for Japanese customer iQPS in August, with nine more dedicated iQPS launches booked through 2030.

Late Wednesday, a regulatory filing revealed that CFO Adam Spice intends to sell 140,157 shares valued at approximately $8.77 million, acquired through the exercise of stock options and arranged under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on June 3.

Spice also sold 56,303 shares across three separate transactions in August, generating combined gross proceeds of approximately $4.45 million, with the newly proposed sale representing around 0.02% of Rocket Lab’s 598.4 million outstanding shares.

Director Merline Saintil also filed a Form 4 disclosing the transfer of 261,903 shares to her revocable living trust, after which she directly owned 2,482 shares and indirectly held 261,903 shares through the trust.

Retail sentiment on Stocktwits improved to “neutral” from “bearish” levels the prior day, accompanied by a 39% jump in 24-hour message volumes surrounding the ticker.

One Stocktwits user commented, “$RKLB — Beautiful watching this entire setup unfold. A close above $62.98 would give us a much clearer indication that the reversal is transitioning into something more meaningful.”

Another user wrote, “$RKLB don’t let bears fool you into selling….this will hit 200+ by end of 2027 with a successful neutron and iridium acquisition…institutions like Ark buying 32M worth yesterday is very bullish plus once dilution ends for iridium deal the buying support will increase.”

Despite Wednesday’s rebound, RKLB shares remain on pace for a fourth consecutive weekly decline, though the stock has still gained 28% over the past year.
