GE Vernova (NYSE: GEV), offering the gas turbine alternative that Bloom is increasingly displacing, carries a $176 billion backlog and raised its own 2026 revenue guidance to $45.5 billion to $46.5 billion on the same AI power thesis.

On a price-to-sales basis, Bloom’s 22x multiple sits well above GEV’s comparable figure, reinforcing the view that the current base case target of $251.84 reflects a stock trading near fair value rather than deep discount territory.

Long-term price projections through 2030 assume Bloom converts its $20 billion backlog on schedule and that AI data center capital spending remains robust across the forecast period.

A pullback below $200 that kept the AI infrastructure thesis intact would materially improve the risk-to-reward profile, especially if paired with a new hyperscaler direct contract announcement.

The setup weakens meaningfully if forward guidance flatlines or if major hyperscalers soften their capital expenditure commentary during third-quarter earnings calls later this year.
