Jim Cramer has declared Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) his top pick within his Charitable Trust, making a strong public case for the chipmaker’s long-term potential.

Cramer made the remarks during a segment where he also discussed how Iran peace negotiations could trigger an oil glut, cool inflation, and pull interest rates down.

His comments on Intel were notably bullish, framing the stock as a core holding he intends to grow within his personal investment trust.

“I told club members that Intel’s now my favorite stock in my Charitable Trust,” Cramer said, directing the remarks at both trust members and the broader investing public.

He acknowledged that no formal deal between Apple and Intel has been confirmed, despite a post from the President on Truth Social suggesting otherwise, though he expressed confidence that could change.

“There’s not been a hard Apple-Intel deal yet despite what the President posted on Truth Social,” Cramer said. “I think that can change.”

Cramer centered much of his optimism around Intel’s Chief Executive Officer, Lip-Bu Tan, whom he credited with the experience and personal connections needed to build a world-class American foundry operation.

“The only hope I can see in this entire food chain is Intel and its CEO, Lip-Bu Tan,” Cramer said, adding that Tan’s background in chip design and manufacturing from his time at Cadence Design Systems made him uniquely qualified.

Cramer specifically noted that Tan had previously rescued Cadence Design Systems and delivered a 50-bagger return for investors, pointing to that track record as evidence of his ability to execute at Intel.

“He gave you a 50 bagger,” Cramer said. “Plus, he has the smarts, and he has the friends, he has the contacts, and he’s just a good guy.”

Intel designs and manufactures processors, chips, memory, and related hardware, while also providing software, optimization solutions, and AI-enabled platforms across its business lines.

The endorsement comes at a time when domestic chip manufacturing has taken on renewed strategic importance, with onshoring trends and tariff policy driving fresh investor interest in American semiconductor companies.

Cramer’s call positions Intel as a beneficiary of both the geopolitical shift toward domestic production and the broader AI infrastructure build-out reshaping the technology sector.
