Owens has escalated her ongoing public feud with fellow conservative commentator Laura Loomer by publishing what she describes as private text messages from the late Charlie Kirk.

The messages, shared on the social media platform X, purport to date back to 2019 and have ignited fresh controversy across conservative media circles.

Owens presented the screenshots as direct evidence contradicting Loomer’s public claims about the closeness of her personal relationship with Kirk.

The authenticity of the messages has not been independently verified, though that has not slowed the rapid spread of the story across social media platforms.

In a lengthy post accompanying the screenshots, Owens wrote: “Those photos are NOT from 2019. These messages however, are. As I said, you are now CROSSING A LINE pretending you were Charlie’s friend or confidante ever.”

Owens went further, writing: “You constantly message people saying you were suicidal and consistently put pressure on everyone to invite you places or else you would take your life. This is how you weasel your way through politics.”

She also addressed her own prior relationship with Loomer directly, writing: “I was one of the very few that was actually kind to you but like I said, you published my kids car and put their lives at risk so now you can meet the full brunt of my rage.”

Owens concluded her post with a pointed accusation, writing: “ALL OF US, tried to help you with your various mental disorders over the years. You targeted Charlie consistently bc he wanted NOTHING to do with you, ever.”

The texts attached to Owens’ post appear to show a conversation from 2019 in which the sender discusses Loomer seeking help and raises concerns about her wellbeing.

Loomer has strongly rejected Owens’ version of events and accused her of exploiting Kirk’s memory to settle personal and political scores.

The feud has been building for months, with the two commentators clashing over Kirk’s legacy, internal conservative movement politics, and a series of personal accusations traded across social media and podcasts.

Supporters of both women have responded with fierce intensity online, highlighting the deep divisions that continue to fracture conservative media in the United States.

With both personalities commanding large and loyal followings, the controversy shows little sign of fading from public attention any time soon.
