What caused the killing of the US diplomat and his staff? Lindsey German, convenor of Stop the War Coalition, says the people of Libya and other Muslim countries have faced 11 years of western intervention which has only brought death, destruction and chaos. At root of these killings is American foreign policy which has been disastrous in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, and is threatening more war in Syria and Iran. It has to be changed. Until it is there will be more incidents of blowback from Muslim countries suffering from western intervention.

Libya is an occupied country – to steal its resources. Yet I read in a comment on an article in the New York Times “From every account I have read, he worked tirelessly to promote democracy in Libya.”
If this is what the American people believe they are leading a too sheltered life. They should get out more and see the real world …… that they are trying to destroy.
