Joanna Diane Caytas was born and raised in Poland. She served as president of two NGOs and on the board of organizations active in Polish-American affairs. She holds a B.A. in mathematics summa cum laude from Columbia University. Her research interests in the social sciences include systems theory, game theory, paraconsistent logic, geopolitical strategy, post-communist transition and East European, South Asian and East Asian history and civilizations. After completion of a think tank fellowship and diversified consulting industry experience, she pursues interdisciplinary graduate studies through a joint degree program.
