   ABsolutely right. The US should leave the ME, take the carriers home, repatriate the whole Bahrain fifth fleet base, stop funding Israel, Egypt, Jordan the Pal authority, USAID in the region and let them thrash it out among themselves. Syria is an excellent example. as for Irans nuclear threat. it threatens Israel, its Israel’s problem and let the Jews save themselves.
   However, when iranian rockets are in Venezuella, tipped with who know what, then the price for Arrow III, David’s Sling, and Iron Dome will be market value, not ally value. if three airplanes on New York could cause the economic disruption and plunge the US into recession, how about five hundred warheads on Miami, Houston, Atlanta and the end of shipping from the Gulf. Think that is a fantasy?
   ask yourself how much of a fantasy was 911
