I think it is more difficult than Chinese to speak(not write). I have been working on it for 6 years. I have taken courses at the community college in Dallas and the Pimsleur language course plus studied two weeks in Hanoi in 2006. I live in Arlington, Texas where I can practice with some Viet speakers. I am still not very fluent just basic after all this time. My reading is pretty good but listening comprehension still needs a lot of practice. Also so many words so similar and almost spelled the same except for diacritical marks. Enjoy reading your site. Everett in Texas. If you get a chance email me back with any tips to better Viet speaker. Xin cam o'n.

Antonio,I agree with you the Viet language is very difficult. I think it is more difficult than Chinese to speak(not write).
